Does anyone know of a plug in tool similar to the pedal commander that will set the throttle at a certain position and leave it there for a time? I'm used to driving a stick without cruise control, so I learned what I always heard as 'fat boy cruise control' basically you set your foot on the throttle to maintain speed on level ground and deal with the relatively minor speed changes based on the hills or dips in the area.
In summary:
I'm not pleased with the way the cruise control works in my '17 Laramie.
I know the V6 with 3.21 rear end make the issue worse, and I'm not willing to change either.
Is there a product on the market that addresses this? Today I learned that fatboy cruise control and throttle lock cruise control are specific to motorcycles, so I haven't found anything searching online, but might be using the wrong term.
Ideally I'd like something where I turn it on, and it maintains the throttle position with a +/- 5-15 mph zone so as to not go too terribly fast (not controlling the brakes, limitations understood) or slow.
But I'll gladly settle for a dumb position hold.
