I’m tired of trying to find a replacement tank and module. Tank is cracked on top and the module has cracks on top as well. Just dried out. Truck runs ******* but won’t pass Ca smog because of the cracks.

Anyone done a custom tank in a Shortbed 88-89 D-150?

Thanks!

Ford rear tanks are about the right size due to having the same width frame. 80'/90's F-series. IIRC, the pickup one is 19 gal, and the Bronco one is 30ish.

Is it a problem for these tanks to crack.
My 1988 D250 IS ALSO CRACKED .

Material it’s made of and age. Sucks. I ended up taking the tank down and “plastic welding” the crack and epoxy IG the fuel pump module. Hooked it up to a smog machine and it didn’t leak. So far so good.
