The dealership will be able to see that the PCM was flashed, even if you return to stock. Not all dealerships are against mods though, so I would just talk to your local service dept, and see what they say about it. Your dealership ultimately has the final say, so I would start by asking them how they feel about tuners.

The price isn't as outrageous as some of the bolt-ons for our trucks.
As stated above, if they're looking they'll be able to see something happened, but not what. It's your call i that's worth it. It's easily the best bang for the buck mod, esp with a free HemiFever custom tune.

Service manager said this to me when I asked:

"If you return to stock they can not tell it has been programmed! They can only see that it has been accessed. Having been accessed can mean using a real time diagnostic tool"

I took his word for it. It was good enough for me. If you dont want to spend the 600$ plus then get the intune dcx. Or get a used one. Im selling mine atm but im on the fence about selling it because I love it. Best mod imo.

This is pretty much the exact words out of my service department as well as a few others around here, and many many of our customers with Ram/Chargers/Challengers/300's that have asked there service departments as well.

Every time you check for codes, clear codes, dealer flash, etc etc it will raise the flash counter, however so long as you return the truck to stock and don't forget to take the Diablo Sport tuner out of the truck they really have no way to tell it is in there, however if you go and get one and use to try 50 different configurations of tunes the first week you own the truck and then for whatever reason have to go in for work to be done they might ask why in the world the access counter is so high already.

My advice to everyone is to find a tune you like and keep it and when you go to the dealer tune the truck back to stock, and remove the tuner from the truck.

I understand the tuners require periodic updates? Would updating also raise the counter?

I just bought another pcm for $260 at moparpartsonline. Takes 5 min take out and install. Never a question from there. Go to the dealer with the spare.
