When I had my 2016 Ram 2500 6.4L 3.73's I bought a Mopar Aluminum Diff cover. Knowing I was buying a 3500 6.7L SRW with the 3.73 I took it off to put on my new truck. I started the swap & noticed they are not the same. I didn't think they put the 12" rear ends in anything but HO & dually trucks. This was a "covid" truck so maybe they were out of the 11.5" & put in the 12"? Stumped here.

As I look at new covers to buy I notice that most fit 11.5", 11.8", & 12". So there must be 2 different styles. Banks sight shows a curved side & a straight side. I currently have what they call the curved side. Bizarre... I didn't know they had different styles, just thought different sizes.
