I'm guessing it would be a major undertaking. Wiring, the switch, programming the computer so it knows you have it... almost everything seems to be going through the computer on these, very few simple circuits.
That and you'd have to have a very trusted shop doing the install in the differential itself, unless you were planning on swapping the entire pumpkin or axle. Messing with the innards of these diffs is quite complex, and getting things set just right frequently requires special tools that 99% of folks won't have even heard of, let alone have on hand. If they aren't set right, you'll grenade your diff sooner rather than later.
Another downside to the e-locker on these, is the computer doesn't let you use it over 20-25 MPH, as its meant for mud/rocks. If I'm in snow, I'll have cases where the truck thinks I'm going faster than that, because the back tires will be doing a little spinning. Not much faster, but fast enough that it will disengage. On my 2020, I have the limited slip for that reason.
Had a wrench-handy woman come onto a forum once (not this one), back when I had a 2001 Ram... she asked for help with installing different gears in her rear diff. We made recommendations, and she ignored us and did it herself. She was so proud, went on a "you guys didn't think a woman could do this" power trip. It had nothing to do with her gender, we treated her the same we would have a man. Its not as simple as most other wrenching.
She never came back, so never confirmed what happened, but I can guarantee you she had issues with that rear end later.
