Does anyone have Kensun HID?

My dad has a 2014 with quad housings, he doesn't wanna spend a lot on lights, and 90% of his driving is done on back highways in the dark, so he wants as much light as possible while keeping it cheap. The Kensun kit is like $75 for the HID kit and CANBUS harness, but can anyone confirm it works ok in our trucks? Don't wanna order the kit and have issues with warnings, etc. Also, will 55w work ok in his housing?

The Kensun Kit looks like all the generic kits on ebay. If it were me I would order this H11: Morimoto Elite HID System - HID Systems from The Retrofit Source Inc get the XB55 Ballast, XB 5500K bulbs (or the XB 6500K as stated on the site the 50 watt ballasts will drop the Kelvin about a 1000 so it would be more like 5500K) and the canbus adapters(its under Harness). You shouldn't need the anti-flicker capacitor.

I had them and they sucked. Cheap just like the ddm tuning ones i had...burnouts and flickering. I switched to LED's from racesport and won't look back. LED's are so much better and more reliable IMHO compared to HID's
