I do not think I was clear in that the piece that rotates seems to get a groove worn into it , that’s why I suggested turning it to give it a fresh area to wear.

So I just tried putting pb blaster on my door hinges after they started making noise. Drivers side is only issue. Ow I think but the bearing isn’t rolling and I’m assuming it had to do with a windy day where the door caught it and basically over extended? Any ideas on what to try?
I know this is an old thread. But my 4th gen driver side roller has completely froze. Only noticed when i just went around and greased them all, wondering if wd40 might loosen it up enough to free it?

If I recall, the previous solution was pushing on a 6x3 rubber washer.

it might clean the grit out and get it moving again. Hit it with some white lithium grease afterward because the WD40 might make it worse with time.
