Hey all,

I am interested in getting myself an aftermarket TC because i am hearing great things from everyone about it, but i have no idea about them, can someone explain stall speeds, how they differ, which one is best for me, as i tow and am looking for just a better improvement in daily driving, not a performance monster, and if this will work well without a tuner?

Thanks.

I've only had my Edge 2800 in for a couple of days now and am loving it so far, street use feels much better than stock and a lot more fun between stop lights. I don't know much about how the stall works but do know that the TC gives you some of that horsepower back to the wheels that is lost through the drive train with the factory stall.

Josh, give us a call in the morning, and I will go over all the details as we custom build each of these converters specific to your truck. We will go over your current and future mods, how you use the truck, and then set the converter up accordingly.

Based on your post, we would most likely set you up in the 2600 range. This is going to be a very noticeable improvement over stock while still maintaining great street manners and keep temps down while towing. It is the best of both worlds.
