Thanks a lot for the measurements, the compressed value should be 16.5 if they follow everybody else specs, the shocks are exactly 1" longer than stock at 26.5", so i'll list them as 16.5 compressed.

Do you know if the Eibach springs are linear or progressive ?, If you don't know can you take a picture of one them showing the full spring?, that'll be the easier way to tell.

As per eibach when I spoke to them. They are a linear coil, 10% over stock rate. Tho pictures will clarify 100%, I spoke to them right before the holiday trying to iron out my order baloney.

16.5 is probably correct. I was struggling trying to compress and look at the tape measure lol. I'll get a pic of the springs here in a bit.

Here is a pic of the spring. I also double checked the shock measurement and 16.5 is correct. Worked a little smarter and just subtracted the length of the exposed shaft from the overall measurement. [emoji2957]

Ty for the pic, this is the 2nd coil spring set we know of that is longer than stock.
We have Icon (progressive) that will allow you to run 27.5” extended shocks and Eibach (Linear) with 26.5” extended shocks. Bilstein came up with a new spring as well (36-286539, listed in the Bilstein catalog but has no picture yet), I don’t know if it’s linear or progressive, but they’re saying 1” lift) and will work with their 5100 0-1” rear shocks.

Somebody should try to get a set of those Bistein rear springs to check them out :)

Id be curious to know if Eibach is making those coils for Bilstein. I heard Eibach makes the coil for the Bilstein 6112 Struts.

My 6112s should be here by next friday. Actually got a tracking number. I found those bilstein coils for same as the eibachs price wise. I messaged Nick here at got exhaust to see if he can get them. If so I'll bundle them with my 6112s and a set of rear 5100s and we can compare notes once they are in hand

Got the rear shocks and springs installed. Went super easy. The trickiest part was getting the top bolts off the shocks. That's what the cut wrench was for. I seen that tip on YouTube. I really had to work to get the springs in since they were longer than stock but wasn't too bad. They measure about 1.5 in higher than I was stock but I think they will settle in right at the advertised 1 inch. ea429fb713f6366b090419cf11dd40f6.jpg0983f2fef75dbc2dac2b4a4417a2e363.jpg0cced5c888c9524b0aa1c8a201c7bae0.jpg

For you guys changing rear shocks, this kit from Thuren is a good investment. Makes removal and installation easier

Looks great man! I also bought the Eibach 2.75” lift front springs, Eibach adjustable front shocks, and zone 2-3” lift shocks for the rear and 2” rear spacers. Hopefully I’ll get to the install next week.

I have a question though: will I need to upgrade the front upper control arms with something like the rough country 3” lift arms, with the changed ball joint angle? Because I already have a set, but I’ll send them back if I don’t need them. I drive a 2016 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman

Pics of the truck now that the front and rear shocks/coils are done? Just want to see how everything looks! I was almost dead set on getting the Bils for the front and a spacer for the rear, but after reading this thread, I might just wait and get the Eibach coils/shocks all the way around!
