I looked at all settings on alpha obd and can’t find the setting on the program to enable or disable the Loudness audio setting. Just was curious where the option to enable

I've never seen a loudness setting on an 8.4, are you referring to the aux volume offset that's greyed out?

No, I guess it doesn’t exist then. I know I had it on my 3.0 UConnect.

It's not in the BCM...

You have to connect to the radio Navigator module directly...

I tried but still not letting me connect to it with alpha obd after going through and connecting to each radio navigator setting. Kept getting a message about a blue plug and pin connectors. I assume you cant use the obd 2 port to access it even with the security bypass module? No big deal.

Try either one of the last 2017+ ones. I use the Android App so I'm not sure if there is something else needed for the Windows version.

I tried both of the last ones and never could get it to connect. Kept asking me to connect a blue adapter of some sort. Gave up lol

What adapter are you using to connect? I think some of the cheaper ones can't connect because it has to do some "smart switching" in the connection process. THat's what the information warning at the end is about the "MS-CAN Blue adapter"

That adapter should work. What is the error you receive?

Not with the OBDLink MX+. That does the adapting for you. Is that the exact message you get? Have you tried changing any baudrate settings?

Has to be a PC thing lol
Quite possible. It's not the first time I've heard of folks having issues with the windows version. You might try searching for similar issues others have had with the windows version of Alfa?

Do you have the communications set correctly? This is what I use and it works perfectly with the MX+

Are you using the OBDLink MX+ with that because my settings are with bluetooth? Noticed you changed yours to the USB one

This is what I could input. My COMS choices only also allows COM3 or COM4 unlike your COMS1 above not sure why. Running same version

Those can vary from computer to computer. They are just the COM ports available to the app to use. More important is the baud rate.
