I agree. Competition is good for everyone especially us. Gets us results faster and prices lower.

It's a drop in kit. He has two stages of cams. Stage 1 is suppose to bring 40hp and stage 2 is 50+. He said these numbers are on a conservative tune.

Jays cam drops right in and does not need a pase locker. He was actually done with everything a week ago. He has already seen large gains and he doesnt even have longtubes yet.

He was banned because he can't follow the very simple rules we have and was blatantly advertising for his business without aquiring a vendorship.

I'm as excited as anyone to see what he can do, but he needs to do some maturing. There has been a lot less stupid drama since he was given the boot.

Not gonna lie, I rather enjoyed the banter back and forth... there were some nuggets of learning mixed in with the venom...

Just to clarify, there is no battle going on over cams. Moe's doesn't even sell 4th gen cams yet. I simply installed 1 in my own truck in hopes of hitting 11's N/A. We would like to start offering 4th gen cams, but I don't want to make power claims until after the truck has been on the dyno or track to back it up. The truck definitely feels strong right now, but there's no telling exactly what was gained until we get this thing on the rollers or to the track. Its going to be a fun year with more guys trying to push these things to go faster.

I remember a few years ago when it was almost unheard of to see N/A hemi trucks in the 12's. I think that is going to become the norm here pretty soon.

Depending on how yours does I may do a similar cam and a converter for mine and see what happens.
