He had no respect for the rules here. The fact that he hadn't been banned earlier despite breaking the rules and peddling his services via PM just goes to show how forgiving the admins are here.

And Jay isn't exactly a well respected guy. A lot of people on here don't like him simply because of his attitude, myself included.

He was banned because he can't follow the very simple rules we have and was blatantly advertising for his business without aquiring a vendorship.

I'm as excited as anyone to see what he can do, but he needs to do some maturing. There has been a lot less stupid drama since he was given the boot.

I agree that he could have conducted himself better sometimes on here. I didn't like the fight between him and Matt, yes it was entertaining but I feel like Jay took it too far by attacking Matt.

As far as advertising his business, He didn't really. Everyone knew he was a tuner, but he didn't ever disclose pricing or even a way to contact him on here. At least not after the Mods stopped him the first time. I even saw someone ask and he said he couldn't say because he wasn't a vendor on here. There are other guys on here who are advertising their business and selling stuff who aren't vendors.

What actual rules did he break?

I'm fairly sure the comment that got him banned this latest time was when someone asked about torque converters he responded that he did and gave the name of his business. If that isn't advertising I don't know what is.

40hp from a cam swap seems a bit weak to me. Must be more in tuning that needs to be done...


Keep in mind it's a unlocked cam with stock springs. Add a phaser lock and spring upgrade and you're looking at much more power with other cams

He did have 3 different accounts and brought it on himself even after being censored multiple times but he wouldn't change his methods, become a vendor, or respect the rules. I'm truly surprised it lasted as long as it did.

His actions are exactly why he was treated how he was. If he had just become a vendor none of that would have happened.

I think you're 100% right.

But I doubt it will be with any of his previous accounts. I don't know if they're banning him based on account email address or IP addresses, but I know that the admins are tired of him making multiple accounts, so I doubt they're going to let him prance around on yet another account once they realize it's him. So unless he disguises the fact that it's him, I doubt he'll be back for long at a time.

Just to clarify, there is no battle going on over cams. Moe's doesn't even sell 4th gen cams yet. I simply installed 1 in my own truck in hopes of hitting 11's N/A. We would like to start offering 4th gen cams, but I don't want to make power claims until after the truck has been on the dyno or track to back it up. The truck definitely feels strong right now, but there's no telling exactly what was gained until we get this thing on the rollers or to the track. Its going to be a fun year with more guys trying to push these things to go faster.

I remember a few years ago when it was almost unheard of to see N/A hemi trucks in the 12's. I think that is going to become the norm here pretty soon.

Whos cam gains 40hp with stock springs and no phase limiter? If youre talking about jays then yes it has no phase locker. They do require new springs and pushrods though. I talked to him last night and the cams are doing better than he originally thought.

The kita that are advertised at greene. Is this a drop in and drive kinda thing? Im assuming your given tuning as well?

It's a drop in kit. He has two stages of cams. Stage 1 is suppose to bring 40hp and stage 2 is 50+. He said these numbers are on a conservative tune.

Whos cam gains 40hp with stock springs and no phase limiter?

Apparently that's what your boy Jay is claiming.
