Factory defect??

Noticed this last week. Possible somebody hit it but I’m just not sure it could have been done without leaving dents or scratches?

The door and front quarter panel are visibly misaligned and you can feel/hear metal to metal when you open the door. No visible scratches or dents of any kind.

these panels are so thin, you can almost dent them with a feather... if its rubbing but no dents, I would take it to the dealer for a quick adjustment.

I can see a dent just by the spot where the paint is down to the primer
