So Monday I pulled the trigger and order a 6" Pro Comp lift, Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac LT315/70R17 and 17x9 XD Series Matte Black And Machined Addict.

Called them today just to check up and hopefully my truck will go into the shop Friday next week for the full works. Lift, tires, wheel, alignment all in a one stop shot. I plan to take before/after pics and hopefully they will let me back in the garage so I can take some pictures while they do the work.

I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas to get here now

I'm not one for the machined/black wheels but those aren't bad at all. I'm sure they are going to look good with the blue.

I like it all, except for the part where you are paying someone else to do it.

It'll be a big change and definitely feel like a new truck.

I have no place to do it myself. My truck won't fit in my garage so I can close it and barely fits height wise. So if I did it in my garage with the door open I wouldn't be able to get the truck back out.

Plus instead of it taking me several days to figure it out they will have it done in a day. With the package I got install, balance, alignment and all that was 500 off.

I didn't "just decide" I have been shopping around for quite some time and they have the most experience around not to mention they stand behind their installs/products with a 3year/36000 mile warranty.

^ not too bad having a warranty. I still like to do things myself, even though I don't know how to do ANYthing! With a project that big, I can't really say I blame ya.

Edit: AF has the words of a wiseman ;)

I love to do things myself, this is just one of those things I don't have a place to do it. Can't do it in the driveway because my driveway has a decent slant.. not going to risk my truck falling of stands/blocks.

Plus when doing things myself I get to learn more about the truck. Hopefully they will be like Midas here where they will let me in the bay to watch them, ask questions and maybe even lend a hand.

Congrats and both good choice of Lift Kit and Tire Size (thats the size I'm going with next 34.4" Overall Height and you won't get stuck).

It is going to be about 4K for everything. That includes the minor things to like lugnuts, tire mount, balance, valve stems, install, aligment and 3 year warranty.
