Gas Milage 20mpg?

Wow that's awesome seeing these big V8s hitting the 20's! Man..I thought I was cool getting 17-18 city 21-25 HWY with the CTD lol (with some helpful mods lol)

On my R/T there was a time coming back from class and I reset it and was getting 22 mpg while going 60. On the way back to my house from picking up the 2012 I got 18.7 going 70 for about 28 miles and 2 miles of 45 mph city(I reset it right when I left the lot)

It's not a prius but sure has power and capability.

I get around 16-17 with mixed driving, 70% highway~, and about 13-14mpg towing 6500-7200lbs behind me

With my 5.9 gasser i get between 6 and 12 mpg... 12 highway highest ever was 14 going on a 2 hour trip unloaded. This is the main reason im going to upgrade at some point.

I did a 60 mile trip last week and kept it in eco mode as much as possible. Ran between 65 and 73 and got 21.4.

Have a 2wd quad cab with 3.21 ratio.

With my tuner I get 16-17.5 mpg if the hwy is flat all the way .

same here although I have pulled down over 20 when cruise was set and was going 55 mph with my 4.56 gears right after install.

'10 QC Big Horn Hemi w/ 3.92 gears & 275/60-20's

I live in rural Arkansas and with daily driving I'm in the 18.5mpg range with my lead foot.

I can drive to Little Rock and back and average over 20 mpg if I drive the speed limit.

I've made 2 trips to Dallas and I averaged 19.2 and 19.3mpg and that's driving over the speed limit the entire trip, plus stop and go construction traffic driving with 4 adults and luggage w/ the A/C going too.

When the "man" states 20mpg highway mileage he means driving at a steady 55mph on a perfectly flat plane at sea level with a 80lb driver and a tail wind, not driving 75mph with 3 adults and 500lbs of cargo in the hill country.

Ok back from Phoenix, Got 17mpg at average speed of 70mph w/cruise control. Guess that's as good as its gonna get and I dont care, the ride was comfortable and had power.

Come summer time you may see a little more out of your truck. Even in CA they use some winter additives in the fuel and your motors still breaking in
I believe my dad has been averaging 10.5-11.5 in his 11 big horn. He pretty much just drives it to work and back which is 5 miles away with 9 stop signs I think lol
He did average 20.5 and 21 mpg on two trips this summer which had him all excited haha

if you don't have a lot of stop and go i can average around 20 to 22 on the highway. if you go the speed limit. other than that i get in the low teens in the city. love the power though. does anyone else love the looks you get from ford owners when you take off from a stop light. lol. i love it when their jaw is in their lap

Love my 1500 5.7L 4x4. Usually get about 16 on the commute (half town and half freeway). Got 19.5 last weekend on a run to Alabama running about 67 average. Just wonder how the TT is going to hit the mileage this summer.

anyone ever try the "gas saver" tune on their truck? is it noticable? does it severely reduce power?

Never paid attention to it in the ram world but in the mustang world a lot of people got worse mpg with a 87 fuel economy tune than a 91 or 93 performance/race tune

So did a little highway today and at 70 with cruise control my instant was even with my average arrow(14.1). I think the bumper is really killing my fuel economy

i have a 2009 with hemi , rambox ... 142,000 miles .. Live in Texas drove from Dallas to corpus 410 mile ... kept at 68 miles ph ... avg 20.2 mpg .... The faster you go the mpg starts to drop .... On mine 68 is the sweet zone ?
