2016 Ram 1500 SLT Lonestar 5.7 - so basically both control arms - both outer tie rods - shocks all around - have all been changed, but I still have the grinding or roughness I feel in the steering wheel both driving and then while slightly turning mainly to the right. I can feel it thru the pedals sometimes. Going to try my rotors and pads next but I don’t feel that when stopping like I have in other vehicles I have had, I just want to go ahead and updates those as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Next thing I was thinking of trying with the rotors and pads was the wheel hub assembly! I think that might be the next step then! Thank you guys!

There was a similar post recently and the owner of the truck in the post, said the dealer indicated there was a rear wheel bearing leak onto the brake pads. I didn't quite understand the issue, unless it was in an antilock or traction control mode issue or bearing issue. When you're checking around, might look at the rear axles for leaks and/or lift up/down on the rear wheels or axles for any play.

So I changed the wheel hubs, and the grinding went away! Thank you guys!

However new issue, I also changed rotors and pads since I was there, now it feels like a clunking sound when driving over bumps in the front, like the rotor is moving, I’ve taken the wheel off and looked at all bolts and everything and can’t figure out what it is, when I slightly put the brakes on while driving it won’t make it sooo I think it’s the rotor somehow. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
