Having a slight issue

Hi everyone. I have the heated seats/steering wheel and there's an option in the settings to have them come on with remote start.

But it never works. When I get into the truck there's always the prompt on the screen to accept bla bla bla or something. I always hit "accept" but they still don't come on.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I believe those comfort features only come on at a certain temperature. I want to say 40 degrees but forget what was in the manual.

They will auto-on with remote start if the outside temp is lower than 40. Same for the heated mirrors.

The same below 40°F applies if you set the heated seats/steering wheel to come on every start also.

The above posters are correct. Also, if your fuel level is low to a certain point (very low), you can't remote start.

Thanks for all your replies. It was 43 degrees this morning which explains why it didn't come on.
The other times I tried it was much warmer.

I think I was just trying to test it out to make sure it would work when it actually gets cold out, which will be very soon here in NH!

Ignore the "accept" on the screen right after start-up. It never goes away, as far as I can tell. My '13 did it and this '17 does it, too.

40 and 80 are the thresholds. Really wish it was different. I need seat warmers at 65 here in FL.
