having problems with the ram app

Having problems with the ram app. Still stuck on the step where it asks you for the vin. Tried both ways it tells you to do it and still haven't gotten pass. Is anyone else having the same problems with it?

uninstall and re-install.
see if that helps you out.

Tried it and still nothing. It gives me a vehicle not found please enter a valid vin messsage. and it also gives me a red exclamation point at the end when you try to do it manually.

So I just did some research - a LOT of research. - you'd think this information tidbit right here would be front and center - but the ram app's only compatible with SELECT 2022 ram models - I have a 2019 I just bought and wanted to utilize this app and I got the same thing - so I had to go to the mopar website, and I saw the "branded apps" link, and there finally is where it tells you that you're essentially screwed unless you bought a certain package, and does not describe what models it IS compatible with. Im trying to convert my craptastic little uconnect system over to a detachable in-dash iPad, but I dont want knobs. I would like to be able to control hvac and all electronics via my iPad, including backup camera, but I still dont know how to accomplish this. hope that at least solves the vin problem for ya, our vins are invalid because our trucks are not compatible
