2016 1500 big horn crew 66k mi. Been hearing the dreaded tick and getting worse. I’m heading to dealer today to take a look. I’m guessing it’s the bolts. I’m nervous after doing research. Looks like they can really screw up your engine trying to remove a broken bolt and nowadays I’m guessing it’s a 50/50 chance if they did that they would even tell you. I’m under warranty so not concerned about price to fix but one of my other concerns is reading how people had them replaced and then they broke again shortly after the repair. Fingers crossed.

you know to be honest I only had one Hemi come in for broken manifold bolts when I worked at a dodge dealership, a lot of them broke but mostly doing cam and lifter jobs where we were already taking the head off so we fixed it on the bench. also most of the informed customers would request replacing them during this job amd pay the difference

Should have ya fixed up, I bet the techs there can swap manifold bolts in their sleep by now.

Pretty much, I wouldn’t be worried about it. It’s such a regular thing now. Personally I can usually bang em out it under an hour, depending how easy the broken bolts come out.

well I first would like to say even though it’s an hour away, I’m very pleased with getting service at Milford Chrysler in Milford, Pa even though I did not purchase from there. The local dealers around me are a holy mess. I wouldn’t trust them to fix my kids bike. With that said, it was 1 broken manifold bolt. They took care of it along with my oil change and since still under warranty, there was zero cost. My only hope is that it lasts and the others do not break.
