Can anybody tell me what kind of bulbs the fog lights take? Since there actually is no message for fog lights do the type of bulb matter?

It's automatically filled when it rains. No need to worry about it.

The vertical style fogs take a 9006
The horizontal style take a 9145 which you can replace with a 9005 if you want to goto LED

its a 2015 so a 9006. do they make a good bright LED that doesnt get too hot?

The same way that every now and then someone has a transmission fail with less than 10k on it. Had a mfg flaw, it happens. I've put on new replacement parts that were faulty and never did work.

as a mechanical engineer im not one to care about if something goes wrong. parts fail its that simple. i realize 100% of vehicles are mass produced and really the only thing the manufacturer does is assembles them.

Where i do get mad is if you take it in for warranty work and it has to go in more than once for the same issue.

I used a h10 LED bulb from stark. Got it from Amazon.

I have Opt7 LED's in my heads and fogs. The H10's are hardly noticeable and I wish I would have got the 9005's.... In your case, 9006's.

The h10 I used is bright. Definitely a improvement over stock.
