So it's been raining today and I drove my truck to the store. When I opened up the back door to put my bags inside I noticed that the headliner by both C pillars is wet. Enough water is coming in that it's running down to the floor on both sides. The seals around the doors all look good plus the doors are dry. The seal around the back window looks good. I'm really at a loss here. Has anyone else had this problem or maybe have an idea where it could be leaking? Any help is appreciated.

Most likely the 3rd brake light. They are known to leak. Pull it out and check the seal around it

Yep, get rid of the crappy 3rd brake light seal and replace it. I used weather stripping from home depot,(dont remember the thickness) over 1.5 years ago and no issues since....knocks on wood

They sell 3rd brake light seals pretty cheaply on Amazon and elsewhere. That will be your leak.

I don't thing halloween decorations or turf builder will help TOO much, that's what came up in that link:D

Whatever you use Add some RTV (silicone caulk) to it, problem solved.

Try the new link, F home depot.

You said the Head Liner so my guess is the puck on the roof for you GPS/Sirius ! I have read about those leaking as well ! The 3rd brake light as mentioned is more common for the leak. Usually soaks the back wall and storage area ! Please Update what you find ! Thanks

I put some RTV on the existing gasket on my 3rd brake light...I tightened the screws a little and then waited 30 minutes and tightened completely...Never leaked at the car wash again.

Thank you for the replies. So it was the third brake light. I removed it to find the housing full of water and a completely shot gasket. Since I have some long lasting, bright LEDs installed I just dried everything up and sealed it up with some clear silicone. So far it seams to be okay. I still can't believe Ram would use have such a cheap design. My 06 GMC hasn't had an issue like that.
