Hey all! New to Rams

How's it going all! New to this forum and to Rams but have owned trucks all my life. Hope to learn more about the things. Just bought a 2019 BigHorn or is it a LongHorn? 5.7 crew cab 4wd. Pics when I get some decent picture weather. Came from owning Nissan Titans the last 15 years. Had good luck with those trucks, hope to have as good experience with the Ram. It's a damn impressive truck. Mine has the group 2 package, north package, some other stuff. $37k before taxes.

Question: what are you guys doing for side steps? I saw the limited models with the power steps which were pretty cool and some models with fixed steps that were nice as well but are chrome and might look funny since there's no other chrome on my truck. I'll have to do something since my wife will have to leap into the truck without them.

The model is called "Big Horn". Very popular. I have an Express (a step lower model than Big Horn) that I've added things like steering wheel radio controls and the upper glove box door. I don't have chrome bumpers or grill, but I do have 20" chrome wheels, so I added chrome running boards. You can see that at this link: Running Boards

Thanks! I think I'm looking for something that's all black, but I'm not 100% sure at this point. I probably need to just look at the truck for a few days to decide.

I think this is exactly what I'm looking for; my dealer gave me a price today of about $500 installed. Don't know if that's a good or bad price but I'll probably let them do it.

Just looked at my window sticker mine came from the factory and it was $695. So looks like a Deal. The other truck had the power step.

Well, it would have been a deal, but I found out today they were going to install Westin oval bars for that price. So not such a hot deal. That's all they offered unless I special ordered the factory ones.

I decided to go with Steelcraft black ones. They're supposed to be plug and play so I'll post some pics on that thread when I get them on.

OK, you are right. I can see them here in Google Chrome, but I went on with IE and I can't see the pictures. I have them in my garage but I cannot figure out what the hell the secret is here for posting pictures. Why can I see them but no one else can? Can you not post pictures from your garage in here?
