Sorry about another headlight post. I am trying to upgrade my projectors on my 2014 1500 r/t and I ran into a couple things. I got JDM fog and high beam LED's. The fog lights went in in about 30 seconds. I tried to put the HB in and the fan and heat sink are too big. I am going to have to send those back. Any suggestions on LED high beams that fit into the projector housings?

I also got DDM HID's and am kind of stuck. I am trying to figure out the best way to install these. I can pack it all into the headlight but not sure if that is a good idea. I figure they will get hot and I am not sure hot to mount them in there so they don't rattle. The other way is to drill a hole in the dust cap. That makes me nervous because I don't want moisture to get in.

Any pictures would be appreciated.

I mounted my DDM ballasts on top of the black support as seen above. I ran the wiring behind the support, not in front as seen in the pic. My tetris skills must suck because I couldn't see how to fit everything in the housing.

Thank you for the picture. Do you have one of the dust cover I'm assuming you had to cut a hole in?

I don’t. I just drilled the hole near where the low beam sits and the grommet has done a good job so far with moisture control. Some people add silicone to the area around the grommet for extra protection.

I did not use DDM, but I packed mine inside the housing. Not mounted, they're a tight enough fit they don't rattle. Been over a year, somewhere in the neighborhood of two, no problems here.

OK, I will try and put them into the light housing. Different question. I got the JDMaster LED for the high beam but with the heat sink and fan so large I couldn't get them in. Is there another brand that someone can reccomend

I think headlight revolution had a pair they said would fit in the high beams but they were like $220 or something like that. I plan on putting in LED pods in mine as a retrofit.
