I wish I still had my old oscilloscope, to see if there is a signal on the cooled button and wires.

Is yours a crew or quad cab?

After you connect to the truck, pick the "Body Control Module" from the module list. Once it connects, go over to the "Test OnBoard System" tab and pick "Module Configuration" from the dropdown. You can then navigate all the options using the 3 buttons on the top right (you can't navigate the list directly with mouse or keyboard). The setting you want is under ECU 3. There is another under "Memory", but I've never touched the ones in there.

Something interesting to note. The settings in the BCM on mine have them off, but if I read the status from the CSWM it has vented front seats and heated rear seats enabled. This is nothing I set and nothing I can see how to change.

Sounds Good. I was really close to finding it this morning lol. It will be a few hours before I get a chance to try it out. I'll report back with my findings later today.

Just a thought maybe you could try clearing any DTCs.

I did that back when I was having trouble getting my heated seats working and the ones for the CSWM just didn't want to clear. My thought was that maybe if there's codes stored, some features are locked out.

Everything just started working one day after I installed the 8.4 bezel and control module. My suspicion is that it may have had less to do with that and more to do with the fact that my battery was disconnected for a few hours. Unfortunately I just don't know for sure.

OK guys, sorry for the delay but with my work schedule it's hard to get to my truck during the week. As. As I suspected and was hoping the part number on my seat module is different than the other two that are listed. My Heated Seat Module part number is 68217265AA. If this turns out to be a simple case of switching the Heated Seat Module that would be great! Of corse we won't know until someone tries it to know for sure but I have a good feeling that may be what's going on with the trucks that won't work. If in fact it is just a case of the module what are the chances that when 00/RT and I did this mod I would actually have the correct module part number and possibly only module part number to make this all work? Had I had the Laramie seats with the rear heated seat option? I would have most likely just assumed it was a no go when I hooked it all up and the cooled seats didn't work. We may have figured it out by using g the scan tool and looking for fault codes but it would have taken a while. Hope this is what it is. Cptwing let us know what you part number is. Hopefully it will be the same as mine and we can see if your seats function when you install them.

68277182AF

Fudge! I found some of these in Jeeps, Rams, and a Chrysler 300.

These all have the 64469S top corner with different numbers underneath.

Rick, it looks like they slapped another sticker over the regular one with a new p/n. I can't see through to make out the old one. It should be right below that "2303".

I think the only way we're going to get this sorted out is to collect some VIN numbers and get someone who works at a dealer to look up the p/n.

What we really need is the p/n for a truck with heated and ventilated front seats and heated wheel, no rear seat. We need this number for various years. This should tell us the p/n we need for our truck.

Then, we need to figure out the p/n for a truck like the one our seats came out of. Then we can see if there is a difference.

We can't directly reference the numbers on the modules, because it looks like those are production numbers or something and aren't in the Mopar parts system. So, we need to know what the replacement p/n is for that unknown module.

Where would I find said part number. My 2016 has the heated and cooled front seats but not rear. I'm happy to go look for you

Do you remember what the first one and the last two are out of? I'm curious because the first matches my seats and the last two match yours.

The module is under the driver's seat just behind where the two big connectors are. It's hard to see the label without a mirror.

under driver seat, has a continental sticker on it. Raise the seat all the way and go in under the seat from the door side, not the front. I just placed my phone under there and told it to take a picture.

68217263AA thats what you have 00 R/T? You have heated and cooled working?

That part number googled comes back to a 2014 SLT/Bighorn with (luxury package) heated seats and steering wheel package.

I wonder how hard it is to get out, Ill steal that thing in a heartbeat. I think this is from the 2015 Sport I tried the steering wheel out on. Didnt work in my truck, wonder if I swap this module over itll work?
