68217263AA thats what you have 00 R/T? You have heated and cooled working?

That part number googled comes back to a 2014 SLT/Bighorn with (luxury package) heated seats and steering wheel package.

I wonder how hard it is to get out, Ill steal that thing in a heartbeat. I think this is from the 2015 Sport I tried the steering wheel out on. Didnt work in my truck, wonder if I swap this module over itll work?

No. I have heat only. My seats are from a 2015 Big Horn. I'm trying to gather a list to figure out how many different variants of modules are out there.

So far we have:

68217263xx:
2014 - Front heat, steering wheel, no vent or rear heat.
2015 - Front heat, steering wheel, no vent or rear heat.

We need years and options for any of the other numbers we've gathered.

Ok, this is excellent.

68217263xx:
2014 & 2015 - Front heat, steering wheel, no vent or rear heat.

68217265xx:
2014,2015,2016 - Front heat & vent, steering wheel, no rear heat.

This is looking like it isn't a year thing, but rather an option thing. Before I go back and look, do you both have the same number DeereGuy and WilliamS? Both are from rear heat trucks, right? Do we know year of donor?

Although till either Deere or I get a *265 module we do not know if this is the solution.

Cross referencing in the Chrysler books shows the part numbers coming up as 5026618AF for a Laramie but it just says heated with memory nothing about vented. Gonna keep searching but if you use those numerics you can actually pull modules up in the catalogs

Adding the code did not fix the problem. The buttons now show up on the 8.4 but when I click on the vented seats button, it's exhibits the same as 00R/T described earlier. The button stays depressed for a few seconds and then turns back off.

Does anyone have a picture of the rear heated seatss connected? I'm trying to figure out where the wiring harness is under the carpet without ripping the seats and carpet up.

Makes sense my seats were out of a 14 Laramie quad cab no heated rear seat. Just for reference my truck is a 14 as well. Not sure if the year matters yet but I installed 14 seats in a 14 truck and all functions work. It is a strange that the part# won't come up on a search.

Do you get the icon on the top right of your display? Does the LED on the hard key come on?

My seats came out of a 16 and I put them into a 16. I don't have the donor VIN. :(

So we need to find this elusive module. Anyone that has the right module willing to part with it for a week. This was we can test it on a truck if we cant find one. With USPS flat rate shipping it would be 2 days out 2 days back to whomever.

I doubt you're going to find anyone willing to pull their truck apart to send you their module. If you really want to test with one instead of waiting to see how cptwing's install goes, your best bet is to just buy one. 12sportmc posted the VIN from his friend's 14 that has the module you want. Talk to Benny and have him look up the replacement module for that truck. You might even be able to find a dealer that has one in stock and they can see what number is on it. Maybe the box has the Mopar number but the module has the production one. We won't really know until someone checks it out.

I sent Benny a VIN from a 2016 Laramie with the jumpseat last night and asked him for the part number. I haven't heard back yet.
