Hey there guys been a while since I was on the forum. I have recently acquired a new ride. 2001 ram off road with a 5.2L and an auto. She's got 170,*** miles on her and still runs great. Books fur 6200 and I payed 1800. Needed a couple little things when I purchased it but nothing major besides freeze plugs in the back of the block. Oh and how can I change my username? I don't want anything to do with ford anymore. Mopar or no car all way!!!! lol did I mention it has 4.10 gear ratio? Lol

The 86 needed quite a bit of body work. Someone dropped a tree on the cab. And the 4 speed needed rebuilt the carb needed rebuilt. Lol. I would have loved to have it but I needed something I drive as I fixed it after my jeep got t boned in a hit and run. And also how can I tell if mine is a true off road. I it is badged like one and it has 4.10 axle ratio according to the glove box door. It also appears to have a small lift but I don't know. Lol. So how can I tell?

Offered in 2000-2001. 4.10 gears, rear lsd, trussed front axle, 1.5-2" lift, 17x8 wheels, skid plates, HD tranny cooler, tow hooks, Offroad tailgate sticker. That's what I can name off the top of my head.

^Yup. It was actually 2000.5 -01 tho. lol Truck was an SLT with a gas tank skid plate, the heavy duty service package, larger shocks, 2" lift, tow hooks and the trussed D44 like Bartow said.

That's what I thought. Lol. I have all of those except the LSD. Mine is a sure grip. And the door sticker also says it should have 16 inch rims. So I thought the doors were different. But I checked the vin tag on the door and it matches the one in the window. And it also has what papers to be at least a 38 gallon tank. If not a 40. Lol. And would it also have a shift kit in the tranny from the factory?
