Install of oem tow hooks on a 14 Express

just put rebel tow rings on my big horn this weekend. have been wanting to add View attachment 130001 View attachment 130002 hooks when I found a set of rebel hooks I couldn't pass them up. Like to be a little different from everyone else this fit the bill.

outward towards the foglight, your goal is to move/pivot that hook from the frame mtg point to be centered in the outer larger area without having to cut those ribs so height is also a concern

I really want a set of these brackets. I read through this entire thread and got really discouraged when I read the post about not being able to sell them anymore. If they're ever available again, I'm definitely interested.

Nope. Those are the standard brackets that come with the tow hooks. They will not work on the Sport bumpers, hence this whole thread. They only work with the metal front bumpers. That's a good resource for someone with a metal bumper and a set of brackets that they got off a salvage vehicle that didn't come with the brackets though.

Yup. Actually the design work is (hopefully) done. After many cardboard prototypes and fittings I'm currently in the middle of making a set in steel. Got the major drilling and cutting work done Wednesday, I was going to do the final grinding, filing, etc last night but the weather wasn't conductive to doing anything but sitting inside in the air conditioning. 90F and near 100% humidity isn't my thing. With any luck I'll be able to get back to working on them on Saturday.

I installed tow hooks on my 2013 Sport. The hooks slightly push the lower part of the plastics down, so I also would be interested in these brackets.

I needed the hooks so I already installed them too. I found this thread before I did it but I couldn't wait so I just cut the insert. I'd still be interested in a set of brackets though if someone starts offering them for sale, because it looks like it's pretty easy to buy a new insert to cut new holes. Here's the part number: 68207015AA
