@RLK,
I wouldn't count on all Lin Bus signals being the same ie CBC3 & CBC2.
We've already talked about out it but your Options are likely down to..
Radio swap with another ra2
Radio sw update
Dealership TSing.( bad bcm or steering control module?)

Update * the dealer installed the new camera and it still doesn't work. They say they need to check the wiring but you guys checked all the wiring for me and confirmed that it is correct. What else could be the problem now?
I agree with Mpgrimm2
I would see if anyone will let you swap out their RA2 and above and see if that will work for you. Purchasing another and finding out it does not work will be an expensive no grids.
If you can possily get an update for your radio that might fix the issue also
I know its frustrating issue as it should work!!!!!
Definitely check your 10 amp fuse in the PDC !Update * the dealer installed the new camera and it still doesn't work. They say they need to check the wiring but you guys checked all the wiring for me and confirmed that it is correct. What else could be the problem now?

Do you have the backup lines at all with either camera using the mopar harness?RLK, I think I remember you earlier talking about cams with different parts #'s and maybe attributing that to the issue. I have put my old cam on the new truck with the Mopar harness and I still don't have the lines. I don't really care but I thought I'd let you know. It may be the cams themselves.
Mopar kit went in without issue.

I actually swapped cameras with a buddy of mine the other day , my cam p/n is an AH , his was an AG ( last digits )
I still had no lines with either , he had the lines in his mirror with both cams , his truck came with the RA1 with the b/u cam in the mirror .
Did you splice the purple wire from the kit to the BCM C-5 /# 45 orange /dk blue wire ?I haven't had the lines on either truck. I don't really care about them which is why I said the kit went in fine with the OEM harness. I had already put the old camera and tailgate stuff in there and wasn't going to swap it all out again. All the new stuff is sitting wrapped up on the table still. lol

It seems to me that many of the dealerships are not making sure this works 100% (ie with lines) when they do an install. If it had video,it must be ok?!?
MTGTS, is 2 for 2 with no lines now.
Now I'm wondering if the sales codes aren't being done 100% correct on some vehicles, but i would think it wouldn't work at all.
I have a full sales code list and my SLT build sheet (no cam in truck originally) i will post once i get home this weekend. Maybe we can catch something.
