Is my 2019 Classic SLT the same as a 2018 SLT, as far as ordering exterior parts??

Question for the group please.
I just bought used, a lease/rental fleet truck. VIN # lookup shows original sticker description
as 2019 RAM 1500 Classic SLT Crew Cab 4x4.

When looking for DIY parts, bedliner, seat covers, nerf bars, etc., I find no one lists SLT as available option for 2019, only Tradesman, Express, BigHorn, Warlock etc.

Isn't my truck just a 2018 1500 SLT that was made in 2019?
If I order parts using the 2018 SLT pulldown on websites, am I going to get the wrong stuff?

Thanks for any feedback.

For a 2019 model you have to make sure it’s for the classic since that’s what you’ve got. The 2019 usually refers to the new body style unless it’s a classic. Then it’s still the fourth gen, like the 2018, but still being made in 2019. So you should be able to get stuff for a 2018 and have it work on your truck.

I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but man, do they ever come up with some great ideas

A BigHorn, Lonestar, Outdoorsman are packages based on the SLT trim level.
My Outdoorsman comes up as an SLT and it also has BigHorn package.

Interesting that I came across this thread. I bought 2019 1500 Classic SLT Hemi and was wondering the same thing. My insurance says it comes up as a Bighorn trim but I personally would have thought that trim would have had the upgraded stereo etc. Besides having the Hemi and Chrome, it lacks some other features. I am ok with that, I do love the truck.

You might want to correct your insurance company. Make sure they’re not over charging you to insure more truck then you have.

I have questioned them on it, my next step is just to stop at Dodge and ask them and if they can show that its a different trim then I will go back to the insurance company with that. I get that they just go off the vin but sometimes that can be incorrect

Either that or if you still have the window sticker? Or you can look up the buildsheet on your truck yourself here:

https://www.dodge.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=3C6JR7CT6DG548523

You would just need to click that link and then remove the vin# that is in the address, and replace it with yours and hit enter and it will give you the year/mk/mdl and trim along with every option it came with from the factory. Pretty handy info to have even if you don't use it as proof of your trim to your insurance.
