SUH, the posterior scratch assistant technology is not a RAM technology, but a High End GM/Cadillac option they charge U for it, and they do not tell U, U have to ask and have built into their rides, so guess U need a Cheby, roflmao....

My lowly big horn is just fine for me as well. It's optioned quite well, including Nav. Had to do one update, picked a time at night and the next day all was fine.

Yup, lowly Bighorn but:

Remote start (kewl), Heat Works, AC works (but not great), radio even works, lights work, brakes work, wipers work, GOT all I need, LOL.

Even lowlier Tradesman here. Everything works great. 4 speeds for air flow is enough, I don't move seats but to maybe vacuum under once in a while so no electric adjust (which is too dang slow when I do have to move them). I personally dislike all the integration of electronics to control everything. When it works, great but when it doesn't what a PITA and if one thing is down it can affect so much. I did upgrade to the 8.4 UAS. Only reason to upgrade was for Android Auto to use my phone maps through it (dislike the native maps of the UAQ and it not always up to date until a software update finally appears). So, in a word: Basic

OK, I get your drift. My concern is damage to the speaker when it blast, which I think is legitimate. I miss the AVC on my Harley when I went aftermarket radio. I don't plan on making the investment in the Ram, just trying to figure out why they would close a case when there was no resolution.

The 19's and 20's have issues with poor cooling. There is a TSB out for a repair where they pull HVAC box apart and looks like they R replacing evaporators. Apparently, the 2021's were repaired. On very hot days, I am lucky to get 57 degrees on max cool. I just haven't gotten it to dealer yet.

As a work around, put "clamp" on outlet line to heater core, and that drops temps to the low 40's. Bad design and blend door issues I guess with the bad part also, all IMHO...

I just seen this morning a recall for the 2021 model Ram trucks. Something about possible fire and they said the suggest owners park outside until recall has been done.

I thank you for the reply Courtney, but it is UConnect that has dropped the ball. I can't understand why they would close a case until it is resolved, and the update that was delayed in the 4th quarter, and came out in the first quarter of 21 did NOT resolve the issue.

Hello again,

I'd like to look into this more, if you don't mind. I can work with our Uconnect specialists to find out the reasoning behind your previous case being closed and see if there's any way that I can help get your concern resolved. If you're interested in this, please send our team a private message with more details about what you're experiencing with your Uconnect system so I can get a better understanding of your situation.

Thanks in advance,

Courtney

I saw this week, that i received an email from Sirius
For some reason they want me to reboot my Sirius Radio

There is nothing wrong with the Sirius part of the radio

I am only having a issue with my Navigation, but, possibly Sirius somehow affects the GPS

My issue is that i enter an Address of where i need to go & i check to make sure that the Nav map shows that i am at home.
Then i start driving & the Nav guidance tells me to turn onto Main St. I know that to get on the Highway, it is quicker to go straight, so i do & the Navigation recalculates.
I get onto the highway & the Nav shows that i am on it.
I get off at a ramp that i know that i have to take, but by now the Nav shows me as being in a field about a mile away & it gets worse from there. It will correct itself as i get closer to home

I guess that i will have to mount my Truckers Navigation unit & start using it, it will take time to learn how it works, the buttons are ridiculously small

I do not have a smart phone, ( i have a basic flip phone ),
I dislike people always trying to text me, leave a voice mail, i don't have to read the text if you just tell me whatever you think that i should know.
Texting seems to me like someone is trying to keep a conversation a secret

No nav here but I still have my Garmins with lifetime map updates. We had 5 at one time: bought both kids one, wife and mine and one for the semi when I drove. Now being retired I still use my 2, even on my motorcycle.
