What did it put down on the dyno?

We haven't strapped it to a dyno and also these trucks are a pain to get a good dyno reading since they like to not stay in 1 gear for the pull. Its been street/strip tuned with data logging with a wideband O2 sensor so its tuned for real world conditions very accurately which is why its performing so well :)

Not trying to be a debbie downer, but those wideband O2 arent that accurate. I had one and all it did was flutter numbers real fast. Then had it dyno tuned, and confirmed the wideband O2 is very innacurate.
Find a dyno tune place "Barth Tuning".
I live in PA, and had my car shipped to him to tune. Hes the best there is.
Its not worth taking a chance of running lean, and blowing the motor under high boost.

You may have had a bad unit or some other issue but the AEM wideband O2 is one of the most trusted and accurate widebands available. Ran one for years on another 700+hp turbo vehicle and this one has been dead on accurate also. No issues here :)

I guess the new ones are better it sounds like. This is the one i and a lot others had. Numbers jump all over the place. Totally useless.

At best, they’re pretty tough to even look at when you’re behind the wheel
However the AFR values are quite stable when reviewing a saved datalog with Diablo’s data viewer software on the desktop

You can do the same with HP,my AEM is tied into my HP program on my laptop.

For what it costs, I would rather pay to have it dyno tuned. And feel more comfortable. Your talking thousands of dollars in repairs if AFR is off.

You're assuming the dyno's afr gauge is accurate, they can be off to,lol. You also need to drive around on the streets and datalog in conjunction with a dyno tune.If you're dyno operator isn't also going for a drive and datalogging on the street you're not getting everything out of your dyno tune.My dyno operator also does a ride along to ,if you're dyno operator isn't,they aren't getting you everything that can be had from a tune.I'd be dragging your operator out of his cubbyhole by the scruff of his neck and making him ride in the vehicle to,while datalogging it,if he's not.

Yeah my dyno operator tim barth just uses the dyno to do the initial tune so it doesnt run lean and blow up. Then he drives it and tunes it. Hes ons of the best tuners kut there. He even sells his own supercharger and turbo cams. Nobody has been able to get higher hp numbers using cams vs his. Guys a genius

Food for thought also is installing your own quality Wideband O2 you are getting the most accurate reading from the engine immediately after the header. Most dynos shove a sensor in the tail pipe and the reading isn't as accurate especially after passing through catalytic converters (assuming you still have them)
