I believe the performance gains are the same as 2014... the issue with the 2015's is FCA locked the PCM's so you can't simply plug a tuner in and tune at will... This package gives you a new PCM/ECU, the Tuner and custom tunes from HemiFever...

Unfortunately, it's the price those of us with 2015's have to pay...

30-35hp/tq to the rear wheels on the 91/93 tune. 89 Octane is closer to 25-30hp/tq, and the 87 tune makes about 20-25hp/tq.

I know sometimes you have to pay to play. $1k seems high but it's not just the 30-35HP that you get with the tuner. At least that's what I'm telling myself as I try to rationalize the purchase..lol.

This is a brand new product for one. Having flexibility with MDS and that 8 speed would be well worth it and an added benefit when I do my e-fan conversion to adjust temp settings. There's probably more to it too that I don't know about.

I think it's worth a grand for the people that want to keep the warranty on a brand new truck. Being able to switch the pcm out to go to the dealership so they won't know you tuned it.

Guys spend 1500-1800 on headers for the same amount of hp

I've said it a few times before, but what other mods are you going to add to get you a legit 30-35hp/tq to the wheels? Add up the cost of those parts, and I guarantee you are at or above $1000. Plus, you will not see the full potential of those other mods without the tuning installed. This is more expensive now than it used to be, but it is still the best hp/dollar mod you can buy for the truck.

so we're now swapping pcm's to tune the 15's? and when/if you damage your truck doing so, you can just swap the original pcm back in for warranty work?

Usually it's in the engine bay and removing 4 bolts and 2 or 3 harness connectors and it's over. Sometimes there is a bracket in the way and you'll want to disconnect the battery first. PCM has to relearn over the first 25 miles or so.

But if something is wrong with it and I have to take it in, would I have to drive that 25 miles before? My dealer is like 3 miles away is why I ask..
