Let me understand: You only got $4000 off "sticker" for a demo truck with 1600 miles on it?
No offense, but even with just 1600 miles on it, it's still a "used" truck isn't it?
Drive a new vehicle for 1600 miles and take it back to the dealer and see what they will give you for it (I'm guessing at least 30% off sticker). Just sayin'....
I personally like the limited slip diff., especially with how crappy the newer Ram transfer cases are.
I'm still flabbergasted that 4 wheel "lock" and even 4 wheel "low" are NOT 100% full-time 4WD!
You think they are? OK...
Stop the vehicle on a slippery/muddy hill, and then try and start going back up the hill again. At that moment, when the initial 4-wheel traction is the most important thing to get the truck going again, the rear tires will spin before the fronts even start to rotate and at that point, the front will probably spin a bit too, so initial traction is 100% lost on all 4 tires! This will require more throttle and spinning of the wheels to get the truck underway, which isn't always an option when space gets tight...
Completely idiotic...
My old 2008 Ram, when she was in 4 wheel mode, all 4 wheels turned all the time, so when you had to stop moving, initial/restart traction was not gone.
