Just picked up our new camper today! We did have a problem with the wd hitch the dealership said would work and apparently the only one they had there. So we are looking or recommendations on a wd hitch with sway bar that has a drop or is adjustable. Tongue weight on the trailer is 910lbs and weighs 7700 dry. The second picture is the hitch I used to haul it the 15 miles home and it sits pretty level.

Beautiful rig. How's long is that? For a wd hitch I use an Equalizer hitch. For that size I'd recommend the 12k/1.2k hitch. I use the 10k/1k and I'm on the edge because of my tongue weight. I may upgrade to the 12k myself because of that.

Its 36 feet total. Its a forest river salem 29vbud which I always thought the 29 would mean the "body" was 29' but the body is actually around 32' from bottom outside corner to bottom outside corner. Thanks for the information!

Model numbers don’t always mean the size of the travel trailer. My model number starts with 26xxx but it’s actually 27 feet.

Son has a Husky TS Centerline for his 2018 2500. His camper is listed as 6600 dry. The insert is adjustable and his is on the lowest setting. Truck is all stock.

Absolutely love my dump bed trailer, it has saved me tones of money and time....and I have made some side cash so it’s all around a winner! dfc53bdb7fdf57db9b55beb177dfef81.jpg

Currently awaiting our new Sure Trac dump. We went back and forth so much on sizes but settled on a 6x12 with the telescopic lift. Our dealer somehow gets Sure Trac to build the 6 foot trailers with telescopic lifts.

My dad has a F-150 so we stuck with something his truck can handle easily as well. Cant wait to get it and put it to work!

I was torn between the 7x12 and the 7x14, but settled on the 12. Trying to fit our 16' cargo trailer and a dump trailer in at jobsites can be tricky so found the 12' was the best choice!
