Yes you can but it’s going to cost. The limited slip mechanism only goes in the rear, no Ls in the front.

Can't be much 2-3k or so .... right? I'm not rich but must pay to play .... rumors say if dealer does it before factory warranty runs out lifetime extended warranty covers it as if factory installed .... ?????

I posted this in the wrong forum and I apologize ..... since I'm still seeking info I'll post here and hope for the best and yes sir I'm a newbie .... I found out previously I can put limited slip in my 2017 Laramie but I've heard a rumor that if the dealer does it while it's still under factory warranty as mine is it will be covered under the lifetime extended warranty as if was factory installed ..... anybody know for sure before I ask dealer?

I do believe this is correct, but you could pm ram cares who should be able to give a definite answer.

I don't think it's going to cost nearly $2-3000. The factory LSD unit is about $575. I don't know what install costs are. I had my LSD installed when I did 4.10s.

They are only covered for 2 years or 24k miles, which ever come first. That's what the criminals at my local dealership said.
