omg this looks incredible. Do you have any issues with rubbing? This post sold me on Rough Country, but I need to know if I should get the 1.25" body lift to eliminate rubbing.

Depends on the front bumper. Sport bumpers will need to be cut to fit.

Rough country 6 inch lift. 35s 20x10 wheels with -24 offset.

There is still a rake. Rear is about an inch higher than front. Looks more severe in this picture because of the slope of my driveway. Kit is supposed to level the truck out. An inch doesn't bother me.

More info on that long arm axle bars you got there?

So those traction bars are rough country traction bars I love them I wish I would have done them from the beginning. They only sell them for 2500 and 3500 so I bought a set for 2500 and they fit perfectly on my 1500 no issues and there also adjustable too

Hello all,

I have a 2012 RAM 1500 5.7 Hemi 2wd and want to install a suspension lift on it. I am trying to decide on the Maxtrac 7” lift or the Rough Country 6” lift. I’m sure a lot of you here have great reviews on Maxtrac but does anyone have the Rough Country lift? I will provide the links below, thank you :: ))

-Is the 1” height difference advertised really going to make a difference in running 37”(maybe 36”) tires? Both companies list up-to 37” tires with correct wheel dimensions.

-Is 1’’ height difference visually noticeable? I know this might sound like "duh…" but am I getting a true 1” height loss?

-Maxtrac has springs, knuckles, shocks, break lines and that’s about it? V.S. Rought Country has that and more. Does this equal better ride quality or better safety in the steering department?

i wouldn’t even consider putting rough country on a truck. Maxtrac is the go to for 2wd rams they are hands down the go to.

If I still had my 2WD, I would go for the Maxtrac.
