Ok heres the scoop I installed a set of 4.5 spindles on my ecodiesel with the 3" rear spring kit in the rear and got to say the truck rode damn good. Last week I added the 2.5" springs in the front to make 7" of lift in the front and added the 1.5" spacer in the rear to level truck out. After that I singled bilstein 5100's all around which I may add was over 400 in shocks so I expect to ride amazing. NOPE! truck is so rough every bump in the rode the whole truck shakes and slams and its really getting annoying. Also when I take off from a dead stop the rear end shutters a little until the truck rears about 10 or 15 MPH... Any ideas I'm so lost and don't want to have to remove it all just want it to ride nice, or am I expecting too much?

the shutter sounds like bad/harsh angles on the drive shafts. If it rode fine before the spacer/springs I would say to start there, simple troubleshooting. but i would tend to say its due to bad drive angles (u-joints, case, difs, etc)

Hey bud, we don't make a front coil for the EcoDiesels. We have never test fit one but I would assume that the motor is lighter and your front suspension is probably pinned out which can also be a safety concern. Our coils are only designated for the 5.7L Hemi or we have coils for the 4.7L V8. We have only sold our 2" coil spacers for the customers that have the EcoDiesel motors so far...

Ok I wanted to jump back on here and say this is in no way Maxtrac's fault. I knew going into this that it was trial and error for the 2015 Ecodiesel. JJ, Sean, and Brett are awesome and helped out a lot in figuring all this out. It seems like we figured out with the two piece drive shaft and over 3" of lift in the rear the drive line with shake because of the angle on it. What I've noticed on the front is that the semi springs ride way to stiff for some odd reason on the ecodiesel. If you want to do the 7" on th ED id recommend keeping factory springs and doing coil spacers because the rad goes back to factory. I have returned to factory springs in the from with no spacer and new bilstein 5100's and the 4.5 Spindle. In the rear I have the 3" coil kit and new bilstein 5100's So not crazy lift just the 4.5", but many with them bilsteins the ride is amazing! So finally id say Maxtrac is still one of the best lift manufactures out there, and if I sold performance parts i would highly recommend them. They worked right along side of me the entire time to figure this out. Great product and great job guys!

that's a pretty easy fix... if you wanted to run the 7 inch kit.

Right on! Glad you were able to get it all handled and thank you for the feedback & kind words, we truly appreciate it. Do you think at some point we could check out some pictures of your rig? We would love to see it. Thanks and have a good one -- Sean

It never ceases to amaze me @ how many people buy into the bilstien hype & figure since they're bilstien that it'll be good, well the answer is no.The lifted 5100 series bills being one of them.
