Mirrors lights

hi folks,

I’ve seen many posts about changing around tow mirror lights to do other functions, but not for the regular mirrors which is what I have.

What I want to do is have some sort of mirror running light or marker. I see it mostly on the 2500’s and most GMC/Ford pickups.
I want to have an amber marker on the mirror and I don’t mind if it’s an additional part I add onto the mirror casing, or if there is an easy way to modify the LED turn signal to stay on.

You can do it using the links Ghost_Ram posted. One minor difference, whether you use the kit or the diy, you won’t have the cab lights wiring to tap into behind the passenger side panel since that feed doesn’t exist on the 1500s. You’ll have to tap directly into your headlights (or tail lights) park lamp feed.
