Is anyone running LEDs in their fogs? I came across these and wondered if they would work for our setup since they come in a 9006 bulb - Morimoto XB LED headlight bulbs CREE. They look like they have good output. I'm browsing for something to match the color output when I upgrade to HIDs, not after loads of brightness in the fogs.

I know Jeremy carries some Morimoto stuff, I haven't reached out to see if he has these yet.

I just installed those in my fogs this passed weekend. They work great and don't require the mess of wires and ballast that the HIDs do.

Have you got some pics of it yet? I'm curious to see these especially with your 5000k HIDs as this is what I'm wanting to go to.

I'll take some tonight for you. I'm using the new 50 Watt ballast with the 5000k xb35 bulbs and they look similar in color.

I like those since they dont have a fan. I've been wanting to try LEDs for a while I just thing if there will be any problems with that fan being exposed to the elements.

I like how these LEDs improving almost monthly it seems.

Unless you are doing a lot of off roading I doubt there will be many elements getting to a power supply fan in the engine compartment.

Well ****. Hopefully it was just a fluke you can get replaced and not that they are just bad.

I plan on putting these in the fogs. There's lots of open space down there and is not covered.

Well damn, how long have you had them?

About 3 days installed.

I contacted TRS this morning and they are shipping out a new one for me. I should have it by Friday.

So got these installed today, definitely of high quality and glad I made the purchase. Even in the daylight I can tell the light isn't as scattered as HIDs in halogen housings and it's a tad more blue, more than I'd like but looking forward to seeing them at night. Install was as easy as it gets, to the point I'll probably never mess with HIDs again. The ballast type thing fits inside the housing dust cover and literally took me 30 to 45 mins to install since the engineers thought it's at good idea to have to disassemble the front end for a bulb change! Without disassembly maybe 15 mins for all 4 lights, heads and fogs. Here are some pics, I'll get night time output shots tonight, I didn't take any comparison shots of halogens but I had piaa 15110 extreme whites in fogs and Sylvania zxe in the headlights. Those were great upgrade that I was happy with spending the money but even in the daytime shots attached you can see how much brighter the leds are. I'll be back tonight or tmrw am with night time output...

We will see what night time brings us but overall happy. Really not sure how hot that copper is going to get and kind of concerning but we shall see I guess..
