Turned 80,0xx miles today

Intermittent (5,000 miles or more) it will get the EVAP system leak P0457 code during a cold start. I top the gas tank to the brim due to great distances without any services here. Possibly gasoline gets into the charcoal cannister. Changed the gas cap and disconnect battery for 20 minutes.

No other issues.

80k on a 2018. Issues seem to be the radio randomly rebooting, as I'm still getting used to let it idle for 2 minutes before driving, and the rattle/vibration at 1500rpm.

1.rear actuator for locker, stopped working. Replaced under warranty. 2k if not under warranty or more to replace

2. AC unit sucks. ( taking it in this summer to have it fixed before my warranty runs out)

3. sometimes blows out blew smoke on startup. Dealer could not replicate

4. winch has gremlins, works when it wants too. Dealer could not replicate

5. “Service 4 wheel drive” fixed under warranty- sensor on transfer case

6. Transmission noise between 2-3rd gear when slowing down or speeding up, dealer could not replicate.

7. “Service axle locker system” dealer could not replicate.


I’ll prolly think of some more issues, this is all I could remember at the time. Guess what? My Toyota I had for 160k miles never had one issue.. this bch has been in the shop more than any car ive ever owned... go figure. Still love the truck tho.

Had some evap codes popping every 2000-5000 miles.
Dealer may have fixed it.

Always had seldom wobble in steering between 35-60 m/hr while turning, especially with a trailer.

Just a hair over 60k miles.

Had a few electrical glitches, mostly relating to the cruise - but I think it's how they programmed the truck. If I was speeding up, above my set speed, and hit Resume, the truck would continue to accelerate 10-15 mph and then disable the cruise.
I have a love/hate relationship with my parking sensors - they are constantly icing up in the winter.

Otherwise I've had no complaints about the truck.

Self-inflicted water leak in the cab
Occasionally have to "reprogram" the auto up feature on the drivers window. No biggie.
My tailgate doesn't lock with the keyfob anymore. Anyone know how to reset that feature???

Other than that it's just been the factory recall stuff.

exess filling the tank will do that. over time it may cause damage so be careful

ive been perfectly happy with my truck and have no doubts theyre the best on the market by a long shot right now. fords have every conceivable problem you can think of and chevy has no offroad ability

Wow, hadn't heard much bad about the 8 speed. that sucks
