Ah, My daily commute is 1.5 miles at 45, 20 miles at 80, 3 miles at 45 then back with no traffic and only a few stop signs.

My average speed to work is 20mph. I would say 15 mile commute, only 4 miles at highway speed. The rest is stop signs, stop lights, red light cameras.

Wow, sorry man. I think I'd keep the Ram for fun and pick up a beater three cylinder Geo for that drive. But at least your comfortable and safe while lookin good.

I would say the chances are much greater that the people getting 19+ have a broken calculator.

No broken calculator here. I drive the grapevine 5 in ca every week, hilly than flat driving on my route. Truck has 3.92 gears, stock 20", 2/4 drop, vr cai, maggy, Y pipe, 85mm tb, 2600 edge tq. I get 21 ave mpg. Probably get better if I didn't include city driving in my rountine route. 85% highway 15% city. I have no cruise control but a light foot. Just cruisen 70-75 on freeway middle ln. not really passin people or going under 60-65mph.

Next mods jba shorty's got for $200 used & a tonneau for sure. Nitro fill tires & switching all fluids to group 5 synthetic redline oil. Have to use up my stock Mobil 1. Hope this helps

No worries really. I am getting what I expected mpg wise. All my vehicles have always gotten 2-3 mpg under what the window sticker has said. I always wanted a truck and I do enjoy driving it. I put gas in it when needed. I can wait until it warms up and I take it on the beach. My mpg will probably be a lot lower, but I need to have fun!! :)

Live less than a mile from work and with warming up the truck for about 5mins and driving it like I stole it I get 9 mpg. I live with it just fine cause when we need to go anywhere we take my wifes car that gets 35 mpg lol. I should also say when I lived 30 miles from work I would regularly see 19-20 mpg.

Ya I don't even need a calculator. Every other month we make a trip to Houston and it's been about the same every time. Can't wait for this next one, it will be the first since the drop. My truck was getting 19+ from 60-70 after I change to custom
Exhaust, about 60 mods ago.
