I have been thinking about it for a couple days now and I am thinking that I might go with the TC just due to the cost of the gears. I have a lot of big expenses coming up and I don't know if I am going to be able to swing a set of gears any time soon.

I am going to do a comparison between Edge and Circle D and then decide based on what I hear from each of them. They seem to be the two that most guys have sucess with.

:dogpile: Yes! Teach you are a very wise Man. I'm kinda in the same boat as you as far as Mod Money and the immediate future goes.

Soon you will have a Truck that acts like a Dragster !!!...:grd:

Yeah, it sucks having to choose based partially on price, but that is life. Sometimes things come up that are more important than modding the truck, so it looks like it is going to be a TC and the rest socked away for down the road.

I dont even think I would have think about it between those two.... I'm definitely going to go with a circle D the next time around. EVERYONE seems to swapping from the edge APS converters to the Circle D and getting much better results.... But.... I think the Circle D is a little more $$$ than the Edge converters

i dont care if circle D is better performing than edge. i am sticking with edge just based on customer service alone. andre will stand behind his product like nobodies business. and he has proven that and more to me numerous times. he has even stuck his neck out and helped me with my tranny problems that had nothing to do with the TC. real stand up guy, and company. i am a customer for life.

I still say gears, prolly cause I wanna do mine with 4.56's with a DTT, and I need a guinea pig. Here's a great idea teach, try the install yourself, that way when I try to install mine... I'll know what to do, and what not to do =P

Poll 3 to 1 for gears and you decide TC. Doesn't that tell you something?

It tells me that it is easy to spend the money when it is not your own :D. In all seriousness, I would probably do gears if I had the cash but it just doesn't look like I will be able to swing it.

Teach, it doesn't really matter to anyone how you mod your truck, but you asked for opinions and you got it. I just find it odd you disregard you own poll. As for spending your money, no one does that but you, it was your poll. Good luck brother.....

Not disregarding the poll, just sometimes things come up and I have to prioritize where my money will go. If I could I would do the gears but after pricing it I realized that it just isn't realistic right now.

Gears on us 4x4s are twice as much as all yall 2 wheel guys. With your cam teach you will benifit from the converter because your motor will work better with your trans. Moes had a good buy on the parts but the install is what will get ya unless you know someone who can do these. There is alot of tricks to where paying someone who knows what they are doing worth it.
