need help

new 2018 ram cummins....3k miles.....today showed 1/4 tank so i filled it. However it didn't fill only went to 1/2 tank and nozzle shut off...I checked filler cap(looked in) and I can see the diesel fuel....so could this be a problem with the check valve ?? there are no kinks anywhere and now its leaking diesel out of the filler cap area.....great

any ideas would be appreciated

can i just put a tube in to push it open?

When you put the nozzle in did you make sure to push it in all the way? There are 2 flaps in the capless systems that have to be passed in order for it full properly and not keep shutting off.

With your jack tools there will be a white funnel that is used to push into the filler neck for filling with a jerry can etc. Use that to push both the flaps and see if the fuel drains to the tank.
