Need help!

New Member here .. Just got my 2013 dodge ram 1500 Laramie, crew cab.
Long story short.. I went to the dealer ship yesterday looking at buying a new truck.. They had a few there... Ended up finding the one I wanted at one of their other lots.... It had everything on it I wanted.... Being Sunday and close to closing time, I couldn't get the truck that night. So I ended up buying it and the sales guy told me he would deliver it to my house.... Tomorrow ( today ). I was ok with that, but I never got to see my truck till it got here...

Well today, when the sales guy got here... All looked well, except the wheels.... I'm not sure if there are the right wheels for my truck... I've googled as much as I could... I don't think they are.... Plus I noticed that one tire has white letting on the tire .. The other 3 don't... I looked underneath and the other 3 tires don't have white letters on any side...

Can someone give me some advise here please....

Thats not right at all....you need to call that dealership back tomorrow and get to chewing some ass.

Thanks for the reply... Tire is one thing... But the rims got me wondering.... Looking online they should be 6 spoke, not 5 spoke....

The wheels are off a 09-12 truck...I don't think those wheels carried over to the 2013 models.

scroll WAY down...the wheels are listed.

Those are the earlier 4th gen sport wheels. They show on the brochure as "available on express". NOT the right wheels at all.

Man, thank you everybody!! I new something wasn't right... When I was there yesterday.. I saw 4 laramies, none of them had these wheels...

I bet that someone came in there and bought a truck and wanted the wheels off the truck you bought...so they swapped them out with whatever they had laying around the service department. Just so happens that they overlooked that little detail upon delivery.

Well you guys could imagine how pi$$ed I am.... I called the sales guy... I don't think it is his fault. The only thing he did was go get the truck and drive it to me... Beware of safford VA. Dodge

If it was during normal hours, I'd be at the dealership, blowing the roof off that place.

Just put a phone call into ram customer service... The rep couldn't believe what I told him. He told me, if the dealership give you any problems to call him back.

this is EXACTLY why stealerships aren't supposed to saw parts between vehicles. I and a few others on here have asked to swap parts off other vehicles on the lot when purchasing and were told 'No' because of this.
What does your window sticker/build sheet (according to the VIN) specify?

Well everyone, I'm here right now... Sales guy knows its a mess up... He is now proving to the manager that this is in fact the wrong tires and rims... So I'm waiting on an answer....better be the right one...

yeah deff get that fixed. Matter of fact, they would be re doing some paper work for my time and knocking some more money off or they were getting the truck back. Look up Lemon laws and such. You have either 48 or 72 hours depending on where you live to take it back.
