Well thats not good. They are always busy from what I have seen. They are about 15 minutes from me. 820 performance is the only other shop I know of. They only do GMs. Gearheads in Mansfield is another good shop. I have known Travis for 24 years.

Do you have a factory service manual? Check Youtube videos?

YOU MUST GET YOUR CAM TO CRANK TIMING CORRECT OR YOU WILL HAVE CATASTROPHIC PISTON TO VALVE CONTACT.

I haven't done a Gen3 Hemi yet, but I know that you'll need to be sure that the phase limiter is set correctly and then line up the dots on the cam and crank sprockets, or a cam sprocket to mark on the block. Usually this is at either 6 or 12 o'clock positions and most of the time the cam sprocket is at 6 o'clock and the crank is at 12 o'clock.

*edit* Check here for pictures of how to align the cam and crank:

If you don't have some form of service manual, you'll want to get one ASAP, before you do anything else. Double check all of your prior work once you have the manual.

If the heads are still off, turn the crank to put cylinder 1 at top dead center. Then position the cam where the dowel pin is at 12:00. Once that is done the timing is set and none of the markings matter. Just get the chain on, line up the dowel pin with the cam phaser, and tighten it all down.

The YouTube MMX video explain everything. You need a custom tune once done.

If you didnt follow it properly you just blew it.
