Hey I was just wanted to get a few suggestions for new headlights. My stock ones are yellow and gross looking but I can't seem to find any aftermarket ones that I like. All of the new headlights are all euro and to me they wouldn't look good on my truck. Any nice reasonably priced headlights you guys have found?

I don't necessarily have a strict budget just nothing ridiculously expensive. I mean if love to get some cheap good looking headlights if there are some.

You will get some top quality from JJ, and have a set of custom lights.

I got mine when I first bought the truck. back then they were $179 shipped

I have purchased many different lights for the Gen II Rams.

My personal favorite are the factory sport lights. They offer pretty awesome light output, and look great.

My next favorite is the 1 piece units. I'm not personally a fan of the aftermarket projector lights (like above, just personal preference Werm, no hard feelings) mainly because I feel they gave less useful light than the stock yellowed lights I had.

On my '01, I just got stock replacements, and they worked pretty damned well!

(Here's the wiring I did on the old man's '98 for the sport headlights with 80/100W in both locations)

Yeah I agree with you, personally I'd rather not get halo headlights. What are the one piece headlights you are talking about? I might just end up replacing them with new stock headlights

My lights were cheaper than buying stock replacements, thats why I got them, as my truck had front end damage. If I keep in a 2nd gen I will go with some RetroShop custom ones

i dont suggest a smoked lens when looking for more light, never yielded good results for me, when you put the 2 side by side there is a big difference, although that is a good deal for those lights for sure

Got me a nice set of smoked lenses off ebay. They look great, BUT, as someone mentioned, they do definately dull your lights at night time for sure.

I just got these and put hids in them. They work really good. Just need some new fogs now because with the new lights the fogs really look like crap.
