Volume dealers will move on the price just to get the unit too, its just Inventory allocation for the next year + Hold Back and on to the next car. Some will work the profit off your trade instead of course.. But I agree, a small dealer on a low traffic road in the middle of nowhere deals more in price per unit vs. units per year.
Chrysler sees " Jim Bob's Chrysler Jeep Ram " has sold 100 Ram trucks in 2014. They will allocate 100 trucks to the lot next year too.. As compared to 600 trucks sold in 2014 and looking for more so I'm giving him 650 this year
I usually dont even deal with the local lots, just ride to Atlanta, Dallas, wherever your nearest big city volume lots are and you'll always find a better deal. New / Used, current or previous model year in my experience it will pay off to deal with large volume lots.
