No grid lines/keep software version.

Hello everybody. I just purchased a 2014 Laramie 2500 last night. I love the truck and probably wont have another one for many many years. That being said I do have one issue. When the truck is in reverse the rear view camera in in the mirror and cargo cam in the radio. For what I need now this is useless and I want them reversed. I know there are threads about that in the forum and I feel like I can probably search and figure that part out. I know it involves switching pins and taking wires from the mirror to the radio etc.

Second issue is that I have no grid lines in my camera. Get good video just no lines. I know the dealer can probably update my SW and fix this issue. The thing is I believe I have the version that allows both camera buttons on my screen. I would like to keep this so that when I do the above procedure I can switch between the two cameras. I guess the question is, can I reenable the grid lines with out losing my SW version. In an ideal world I would put the truck in reverse and see the rear view with grid lines on the radio. and then if I had to I could switch between cargo and rearview displayed on radio.

Sorry for such a long winded first post im just hoping to get some help.
