Noisy fuel pump, normal?

Installed new Delphi fuel pump assembly in my 2001 Ram 1500 last month, truck runs fine but I can hear the fuel pump buzzing. Is this normal? I don’t remember the original being this noisy. Delphi claims to have a lifetime warranty on fuel pumps so we’ll see what happens.
