Then the FE2 will fit as well.

Note:

When you grab one off the shelf, check the box to make sure the correct filter is in there. TWICE I've grabbed an FE2 off the shelf at 2 different WalMart's and discovered someone had put a PH2 in the FE2 box.

I hate going into those stores. I ordered a case of FE 10575 oil filters online, checked each one over for labeling and core tube openings punched fully through.

I suppose if I bought a case for you and sent it disguised as toilet paper or something, Customs would have me jailed, in today's world.

Story time - at work when we launched Cummins 1st 2MWe generator to compete with CAT, we got caught by surprise with the demand for it. So, management had us hustling parts to build them instead of doing a next new product. One of those was the different 50 hz (1500 rpm) engine harmonic twin balancers needed. We had to air freight them from the U.K. to retrofit a 60 hz (1800 rpm) engine to get it to the customer in time for their project.

These are huge, silicone fluid-filled double discs. They look like large land mines (claymores). Customs had never seen anything like it and held them up in Toronto. We spent the better part of an afternoon convincing them we weren't gonna blow something up.

The Wife and I went to Port Huron, MI. for my brothers 70th birthday. We decided to go to the Canada side of Niagra Falls for an overnight.

We drove across the Blue Water Bridge and stopped at the checkpoint. The CA border agent asked where we were going. I replied, "Niagra Falls." He then asked, "What are you going there for?"

The sarcasm started welling up inside me, and I immediately thought about Bill Engvall (Here's your sign.....lol). But, I swallowed the sarcasm, and said retorically, "To see the falls?"

I'm so glad I wasn't a smart-a$$, because on the way back into the US, we saw a couple cars pulled off to the side, being pretty much dismantled (seats pulled out, etc.).

Very glad.

Ed, we grew up in a time when everyone wasn't a serious a$$hole. I feel sorry for younger folks.

I never did make it to the Tar Sands with our big generators. Thank god.

I think the Rep. took somebody else up there.

For fun and us H-D owners, a few cut open pics of my 2010 Harley-Davidson 96 cube V-twin's "Genuine Harley-Davidson" oil filter @ 2600 miles(last oci was on 6/2020, it sits a lot and figured it needed an oil change regardless of accumulated miles since the last oci).

Imo, this oem replacement chrome oil filter that is sold at the H-D dealership is "all flash and show" ... the filter media alone isn't worth the $$ and that, imo is where it matters most. It was easy peasy to tear it away from the screened wired backing(not sure what it was, synthetic cardboard?)at least it had that, and that's a good thing ... the rest of the oil filter seemed decent.

The baseplate is good and the gasket is thick, but the outer filter canister was a little flimsy.

The anti drain-back valve is as it should be, an durable silicon.

Don't know about this filters by-pass valve, but it states there is one ...

... I slapped another one right back on as I've done for many years ...

We've come a long ways since the early 1950's when lots engines did NOT come with oil filters, and were later fitted with a canister which bolted to the side of the engine and plumbed into the oil sender port with thin copper tubing, went to the filter that was a roll of toilet paper and drained into the oil pan.

Yeah, that's just a crappy, old-timey paper one. This is the only one I could find with supposed synthetic media. Yeah, it's Chineseum, yet it appears well-built visually. I haven't cut one up. I run it on my M8 H-D.

These filters apparently differ regionally. Some folks have what look to be PG filters made in Asia, and in other parts of the country they plainly look like a Champ. As to the synthetic resin, I have no idea. For the money, I decided to go with CQP and/or MO-339.
